Arrêt du soufflage sans chute des barres. L'étude des conséquences de perte de soufflage est faite dans l'hypothèse où le réacteur fonctionne à sa puissance nominale et où, pour une raison non déterminée, la motosoufflante principale s'arrête. Un tel événement entraîne normalement la mise en œuvre du système d'arrêt automatique (chute des barres d'arrêt) que l'on suppose défaillant, tout comme le système de refroidissement à l'arrêt.
