The victory ceremony that took place at the Ovcarna pod Pradedem on Friday, 2 February, concluded the Czech Army international outdoor polyathlon championship of Winter Survival 2007. The hosts of the competition were the Czech Army General Staff and the University of Defence.

Le Polyathlon se déroule dans une nature magnifique où, en plus de hautes qualités sportives l'esprit d'équipe et l'amitié jouent un rôle déterminant. Il cumule 12 km de cross sur piste finlandaise avec, en pleine action, du tir à l'arc à 10 mètres, 150 km de cyclisme sur route et en montagne, 3 km de natation et un parcours final de 4 à 6 heures en raquettes ou en peau de phoque en haute altitude.
