The Richmond Hill Winter Carnival comes about as a result of a strong community effort. The event is organized and planned by a group of eager and tireless volunteers. The carnival is funded through button and food revenues and through financial support from local and area businesses. The mandate of the carnival is to organize a community party with events that appeal to families and residents of all ages, from youngsters to grandparents alike.

L'événement est organisé et planifié par un groupe de bénévoles passionnés et infatigables. Le carnaval est financé à même les recettes tirées de la vente de macarons et de petits plats et bénéficie du soutien financier d'entreprises locales et régionales. Les responsables du carnaval ont pour mandat d'organiser une fête communautaire avec au programme des activités qui intéressent les familles et les personnes de tous âges, de plus petits au plus grands.
