Ce séparateur est construit par la société Boxmag Rapid en Grande-Bretagne. [...] La matrice des séparateurs Boxmag Rapid est constituée de barreaux inclinés en acier inox ayant une section trapézoïdale et montée entre deux couronnes (carrousel) en acier inox amagnétique. Cette disposition permet d'assurer un gradient de champ magnétique élevé, le passage des particules à travers plusieurs barreaux inclinés, donc plusieurs zones magnétisées, et d'augmenter la durée de rinçage des produits magnétiques. [...] Ce qui caractérise surtout ces appareils, ce sont le rotor réalisé en acier inox amagnétique [...] et le circuit magnétique, qui comporte des électro-aimants ayant leurs pôles alternés par rapport à ceux de leurs voisins et placés à égale distance les uns des autres.
