OBS

Completed in March 1995, the Organization System, required by the RDMS [Retail Debt Management System], consists of a database of common organization data, complete with information pertaining to branches, addresses, communication numbers and contacts. The data will potentially contain all the external organizations the Bank of Canada deals with as well as any relevant internal information. The Financial Institution portion of the system will eventually replace the current Financial Institution File (FIF) which contains information provided by the CPA [Canadian Payments Association].
