Médicaments chroniques : une évolution ralentie. Inversément, les médicaments «chroniques» prescrits dans le cadre de pathologies de longue durée telles que le diabète, l'asthme ou l'hypertension artérielle, enregistrent une croissance plus faible de leurs dépenses : +2,9 % en 2007.

Les patients recevant cinq médicaments à usage chronique ou plus ont été randomisés soit dans le groupe bénéficiant du service de consultation en pharmacothérapie, soit dans le groupe avec suivi médical usuel.
