The mission of the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba Inc. is to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors and their families.

Mandate. To function as a non-profit organization for the benefit of stroke survivors and their families throughout the province of Manitoba. To help the stroke survivor again become a participating member of society through mental stimulation, self-help, and socialization. To educate the public in matters relating to stroke.

Established in 1971 SAM is the oldest stroke recovery association in Canada. SAM provides supports and services to stroke survivors, family, and friends.
