Evolution of the Aboriginal Sex Offender Treatment Program. Over time it became apparent to therapists assessing risk and appropriate intervention treatment for sex offenders was what Cull (1996) has termed "cultural collision" between staff of the SOTU who, more frequently than not, were non Aboriginal and female and offenders who were Aboriginal.
