On appelle «région d'acceptation» l'intervalle mesuré sur la distribution d'échantillonnage de la statistique étudiée, qui conduit à accepter l'hypothèse nulle H0 d'un test d'hypothèse. C'est la région complémentaire à la région de rejet. À la région d'acceptation est associée une probabilité 1-alpha, alpha étant le seuil de signification du test.
