Seeding rates of discers should be checked whenever the seed or the width of cut is changed. The indicated seed rate settings are not necessarily accurate and neither are the acremeters. When a narrower width of cut is used, a heavier seeding rate results, and the acremeter shows more acres than were actually covered.

Les indications données en ce qui concerne le débit ne sont pas nécessairement exactes, pas plus que les compteurs de surface. Si on réduit la largeur de travail, on accroît le taux d'ensemencement et le compteur de surface indiquera une superficie plus grande que celle qui a été réellement parcourue.
