Arts and Culture Timmins (ACT) is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to improve the quality of life in the Timmins area by encouraging and facilitating arts and cultural activities. ACT was founded on the belief that the arts are for everyone and should be accessible to all since they are essential for a healthy community lifestyle. Their goal is to provide leadership within the arts community. They foster and develop creative excellence among artists to promote awareness of and appreciation for the arts.
