The Beads of Hope Campaign refers to beaded pins created by South African women that incorporate the visual image of the international AIDS symbol (a crossed red ribbon). South African women express their creativity and a political message of solidarity with people suffering from HIV/AIDS through these pins. By wearing the pins we honour the creativity of African women and hear their call to respond to the pandemic.

OBS
