Les dessins nos 1 et 2 montrent la profil fondamental des filetages Whitworth cylindriques ("parallel") et coniques ("taper"). Rappelons que les filetages français "pas du gaz" [...] ont le même profil et les mêmes cotes que les filetages BSP.
