The Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors, the national organization, represents the interests of its members’ and the public through promoting and enhancing members’ professionalism and competency. Objectives: representing and promoting the interests of Canadian home and property inspector provincial/regional organizations and their individual members: establishing and maintaining the status of the professional home and property inspectors with consumers, governments, stakeholders across Canada and all associated agencies and professionals across Canada; establishing and maintaining a national standard for education, certification and professional practice for home and property inspectors across Canada; supporting programs that are beneficial to Canadian home and property inspector provincial/regional organizations and their individual members; and enabling transferability of Registered Home Inspector (RHI) designation within all Canadian home and property inspector provincial/regional organizations.

Objectifs : établir et maintenir le statut des inspecteurs professionnels de biens immobiliers auprès des consommateurs, des gouvernements, des intervenants ainsi que de l'ensemble des organismes et des professionnels associés du Canada; établir et maintenir une norme nationale en matière de formation, de certification et d'exercice professionnel à l'intention des inspecteurs de biens immobiliers du Canada; soutenir les programmes bénéfiques aux organisations provinciales ou régionales canadiennes d'inspecteurs de biens immobiliers, sur le plan collectif, ainsi qu'à leurs membres, sur le plan individuel; assurer la transférabilité de la certification entre l'ensemble des organisations provinciales ou régionales canadiennes d'inspecteurs de biens immobiliers.
