The Canadian Hospital Epidemiology Committee (CHEC), a subcommittee of the Canadian Infectious Disease Society, in a collaborative effort with Health Canada, is providing rates and trends of nosocomial infections in sentinel hospitals within the Canadian Nosocomial Infection Surveillance Program (CNISP).
