New Directions was originally established as the Children's Home of Winnipeg in 1885 and is the oldest child-caring institution of its kind in Western Canada. At New Directions, we have a vision of community. Our vision is of a place where all people have well-being, are honoured and can dream. And our mission is to offer services that can help make that vision a reality. Because a healthy community will help define the health of those who live there.
