The continuous/one stage process is a vitrification process with all operations in a ceramic melter and continuous feeding of the liquid waste and the glass frit and discontinuous pouring of the glass melt.

The continuous/two stage process has a vitrification furnace which is continuously fed by a separate drying and calcining device. Pouring is discontinuous.

Un four de fusion fond le mélange (calcinat et verre primaire) pour produire le verre de formule choisie qui est coulé à intervalles réguliers dans un conteneur métallique de stockage.
