Le corridor du Canal Rideau. Dans ce cas «corridor» désigne le canal Rideau, ses rives ainsi que les habitations qui le bordent.

OBS

La nuance entre «corridor» et «couloir» est mince. Il est pourtant préférable d'utiliser corridor pour une bande ou une zone de territoire et couloir pour un passage plus ou moins étroit. On dira un corridor urbain, un corridor de lancement (engin spatial), par contre on préfèrera dire un couloir aérien, un couloir d'écluse ou un couloir d'autobus. Il est intéressant de remarquer que Corridor polonais est le synonyme de Couloir de Dantzig.
