Clôture jointive en échalas. (...) Les échalas, bois fendu dans le fil du bois formant des demi-ronds, peuvent être assemblés de la même façon avec un espacement assez réduit. Il se présentent alors en rouleaux. Ils peuvent être aussi cloués, jointifs ou espacés de 1 à 6 cm, sur des traverses horizontales pour former des panneaux rigides de 1,50 à 2 m de long en général de hauteur allant de 1 à 2 m, soit constante soit à hauteurs alternées pour effet décoratif. Les échalas peuvent former des panneaux à mailles losangées de 8 à 12 cm, par exemple.
