The Central West Health Planning Information Network (CWHPIN) is one of five Health Intelligence Units (HIU's) established by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-term Care. CWPHIN is a partnership made up of seven public health units and four district health councils, located in the districts of Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk, Halton, Hamilton-Wentworth, Niagara, Waterloo and Wellington-Dufferin as well as McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences.
