On constate qu'en fonction de l'intensité de la lumière on peut trouver dans les cavernes quatre zones successives : la première zone, «d'entrée» [...]; la seconde zone, «vestibulaire» [...]; la troisième zone, «de pénombre» [...]; la quatrième zone, «obscure» correspond à tout le reste de la cavité et avec quelques Algues, les Champignons s'y développent à peu près seuls (si l'on fait abstraction des points lumineux des grottes aménagées).
