Théorie se fondant sur la constatation que des conditions multiples sont nécessaires pour qu'un dommage se produise. Aucune de ces conditions n'est elle-même suffisante pour engendrer le préjudice mais toutes, au contraire, sont nécessaires pour causer celui-ci, puisque, par hypothèse, le dommage est le résultat de leur union ou de leur enchaînement.

CONT

Le point fondamental de la théorie de l'équivalence des conditions est l'idée que chacun des événements qui est la condition de la réalisation du dommage, joue dans cette réalisation un rôle identique.
