«Domaine de tenance unique» constitue l'équivalent strict de «estate in sole tenancy». Il vise les cas où, par exemple, il existe plusieurs domaines sur un même bien dont un qui est «joint» et un qui est «in sole tenancy». Ce dernier domaine ne pourrait être qualifié de «domaine unique».
