Health Canada. The mandate of the EAC-VHP is to provide HPFB with on-going external expert broad strategic policy advice on the safety and therapeutic effectiveness of marketed health products for human use. It will also provide a mechanism to involve the public providing them with a forum to have their views heard by experts who can discuss their input and incorporate it into the advice provided. Santé Canada. Le CCE-VPS a pour mandat de fournir, sur une base permanente, à la DGPSA de Santé Canada, des avis généraux d'experts de l'extérieur au sujet des politiques et des stratégies concernant l'innocuité et l'efficacité thérapeutique des produits de santé commercialisés à l'usage des humain. En plus, le Comité constituera un mécanisme permettant aux membres du public de participer à un forum afin de faire connaître leurs points de vue aux experts qui pourront par la suite les examiner et les incorporer dans les avis qu'ils seront appelés à fournir.
