The purpose of this project is to develop data-collection and reporting procotols that will make it possible to provide accurate, timely reports on fisheries management plans in a consistent reliable format. DFO is also committed to establishing common business processes across regions to support the implementation of common systems and databases to licensing, quota management, and catch and effort.

L'objectif de ce projet est de mettre au point des protocoles de collecte et de transmission de données qui permettront de fournir des rapports exacts et actuels sur les plans de gestion des pêches de manière fiable et uniforme. Le MPO est également résolu à adopter des processus administratifs communs à toutes les régions à l'appui de la mise en œuvre de systèmes et de bases de données communs pour la délivrance des permis, la gestion des quotas ainsi que les prises et l'effort.
