Le système de chauffage à circulation forcée a pour avantage de fournir aux radiateurs une température d'eau plus élevée, avec une circulation plus rapide,et par là une émission de chaleur en B.T.U. plus grande, tout en réduisant le nombre ou le diamètre des tuyaux de distribution, la disposition de ce système est la même que pour un système fermé par gravité (...) la circulation de l'eau est activée par une pompe placée à l'arrivée du maître-tuyau de retour à la [chaudière].

OBS

En anglais comme en français, le fluide caloporteur peut être soit l'eau, soit l'air. Il existe donc un système de chauffage à air chaud pulsé.
