Free of turn. This condition means that laydays will commence to count as soon as the vessel has arrived at the port of loading or discharge, whether a berth is available or not, provided, of course, the ship is ready to load or to discharge in every respect and written notice or readiness has been given by the master.

OBS

La clause «free of turn» [...] a pour objet propre de permettre l'envoi de la notice (ou de faire courir les délais de staries lorsque cet envoi n'est pas imposé) alors que le navire doit attendre son tour avant d'accéder au bassin ou au quai. Cette attente peut intervenir en quelque lieu que le navire soit ancré, dans le port ou hors du port.
