It began as "Fun and Fitness" in the Toronto Region in 1991 and has grown and changed over the years to what it is today. Originally offered in nursing homes and senior's centers, Link to Health eventually moved to more accessible locations for seniors who live independently in their communities. It has always been the only program of its kind offered free of charge to participants.
