The FASM is the owner of the Individual Training Management Information System (ITMIS) and overall manager of the Trainee Production Management Information System (Upgrade) (TPMS(U) environment. Having overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the ITMIS throughout its life cycle, the FASM is responsible for the conceptual data model, configuration management, functional security, and for the provision of operational policy and guidance. The FASM is the control point for all changes and problem tracking. (Issues at the Command level will be referred to the Managing Authority System Manager (MASM).

Le GFSA est le propriétaire du Système d'information de gestion - Instruction individuelle (SIGII) et le gestionnaire de l'environnement du Système d'information et de gestion - Stagiaires (Amélioration) (SIGS(A)). Ayant la responsabilité globale de l'exploitation et de la maintenance du SIGII pendant son cycle de vie, le GFSA est responsable du modèle de données conceptuel, de la gestion des configurations, de la sécurité fonctionnelle ainsi que de la politique et de l'orientation opérationnelles. Le GFSA est le point de contrôle de tous les changements et du suivi des problèmes. (Les problèmes à régler au niveau du commandement sont renvoyés au Gestionnaire du système des autorités de gestion (GSAG).
