Chaudières à gazéification [...] Deux types de chaudières sont actuellement en développement : l'un assez classique se rapproche de la combustion horizontale et le bois y est gazéifié sur grille. Les gaz émis sont ensuite brûlés au contact d'un tube alimenté en air préchauffé et percé de trous. Le deuxième type est conçu sans grille et la gazéification s'effectue au niveau d'un diabolo également percé de trous. Avant l'échangeur à tubes de fumés, on retrouve le tube percé alimenté en air secondaire. Les performances de ces appareils semblent extrêmement prometteuses.
