Cold (normal temperature) paints, should not be applied when the surface temperature is less than 5 °C. The weather should not be foggy or windy. The hot-spray or heated-paint method in which the paint is heated to 50 °C or more for application may be used at lower ambient temperatures.

Il ne faut pas appliquer une peinture froide (à la température normale) lorsque la température de la surface est inférieure à 5 °C. Le temps ne devrait pas être brumeux ou venteux. Lorsque la température ambiante est froide, on peut utiliser une méthode de pulvérisation à chaud ou de réchauffage de la peinture, dans laquelle la peinture est réchauffée à 50° ou plus avant d'être appliquée.
