The former Industrial Adjustment Services has been merged into Local Labour Market Partnerships (LLMP). The LLMP support measure provides Human Resources Development Canada offices with the capacity to work with employers (company level), employee or employer associations, community organizations and others to consider innovative strategies to build employment. It also provides a capacity to address human resources issues in both upside and downside adjustment situations.

Les anciens Services d'aide à l'adaptation de l'industrie ont fusionné pour former les Partenariats locaux sur le marché du travail. Grâce à l'aide offerte en vertu des Partenariats, les Centres de ressources humaines Canada (CRHC) peuvent collaborer avec les employeurs (à l'échelle de l'entreprise), les associations d'employeurs ou d'employés, les organismes communautaires ou autres à l'étude de stratégies novatrices pour créer de l'emploi. Elle leur permet également de s'attaquer aux problèmes liés à l'adaptation des ressources humaines, aussi bien dans les cas d'expansion que de rationalisation de l'effectif.
