Employment Insurance keeps the basic 55 per cent benefit rate for most claimants. However, a new intensity rule gradually reduces the benefit rate for those who have collected more than 20 weeks of benefits during the past five years.

Cependant, une nouvelle règle de l'intensité réduit progressivement ce taux dans le cas des personnes qui ont reçu des prestations pendant plus de 20 semaines au cours des cinq dernières années.
