INTERMITTENT EXPOSURE [1 record]

Record 1 1991-12-20

English

Subject field(s)
  • Environmental Studies and Analyses
  • Toxicology
  • Occupational Health and Safety
CONT

Respiratory protection devices are usually restricted to intermittent exposures, or to operations in which control by other methods are inadequate or not feasible.

CONT

The job hazard analysis and walk-through survey will answer a number of questions regarding the length of exposure to any associated work hazard (continuous or intermittent? routine or occasional?), the type of process in which the substances are being used, ... and the adequacy of existing controls in the workplace.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Études et analyses environnementales
  • Toxicologie
  • Santé et sécurité au travail
OBS

"discontinu" : Qui n'est pas continuel. (...) [p. ex. :] bruit discontinu.

OBS
