International Customs Day is celebrated under the auspices of the World Customs Organization (WCO). The Organization has its headquarters in Brussels and has for a purpose the facilitation of trade and travel of the world's citizens. Celebrated each year on January 26, this special day recognizes the efforts of the men and women working in customs organizations world wide. This day marks the contribution of Customs to making our communities safe, secure and prosperous.
