En español, el agujero donde se mete la llave se llama "ojo", independientemente del tipo de cerradura de la que se trate. El concepto comparte el mismo campo semántico que el que representa el francés "entrée de clef", pero es una noción genérica con respecto a los conceptos designados por los términos ingleses "keyhole" y "keyway".
