Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The observed cloud forms adapt themselves to separation into fairly definite groups. Clouds occur generally in "heap" forms or "sheet" or "layer" forms, or combinations of these. The term "veil clouds" is very aptly used at times for certain of the sheet clouds, particularly the precipitating forms. 4, record 1, English, - layer%20cloud

The layer cloud types comprise Cirrus, Cirrocumulus, Cirrostratus, Altocumulus (except Altocumulus castellanus), Altostratus, Nimbostratus, Stratus, and Stratocumulus. 1, record 1, English, - layer%20cloud

4, record 1, French, - nuage%20en%20nappe
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
3, record 1, French, - nuage%20en%20nappe
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
3, record 1, French, - nuage%20en%20nappe
