Victimization rates are higher for American Indians and Alaska Natives. The lifetime victimization rate is 1.2 times as high for American Indian and Alaska Native women as for White women; for men, it is 1.3 times as high.

De nombreuses différences ont été constatées entre les questions des deux enquêtes de victimisation et des différences sociodémographiques entre les deux échantillons de répondants ont été notées. En considérant les variations sociodémographiques et structurelles attribuées à l'ESG [Enquête sociale générale] et au JVQ [Juvenile Victimization Questionnaire], il est possible de conclure que les deux questionnaires donnent des taux similaires concernant la victimisation des 12 derniers mois. Les taux de victimisation à vie sont beaucoup moins similaires.
