AE [aeromedical evacuation] missions shall be conducted with the patient’s welfare as a primary concern. Accordingly, the aircraft captain (AC) shall consult with the medical crew director (MCD) on all matters pertaining to the patient’s welfare and adjust the mission’s profile, consistent with flight safety, to accommodate medical requirements.
