OBS

Une planche est en général définie comme un sciage (de longueur quelconque, d'épaisseur comprise entre 22 et 55 mm et mesurant au maximum 25 cm de large). Toutefois, le texte à traduire portant sur le résultat de certaines recherches archéologiques, il convient de préciser "sciée", à l'exemple de l'auteur qui écrit «milled plank» au lieu de «board».
