Colloïdes micellaires. Ce sont des solutions formées de molécules constituées par un groupe lyophobe et un groupe présentant une forte affinité pour le solvant. Ces molécules se regroupent en orientant leur groupe lyophile vers le solvant. Il se forme, au-delà d'une certaine concentration, des agrégats de molécules: les micelles, pouvant regrouper plusieurs centaines de molécules. Ces molécules sont souvent ionisées et les micelles le sont donc aussi; on distingue: [...] les micelles neutres, constituées de molécules ne pouvant être ionisées, comme celles qui se forment à partir d'alcools polymérisés avec des oxyéthylènes.
