The collection and dissemination of NOTAM, RSC [runway surface condition] and CRFI [Canadian Runway Friction Index] information by the flight service specialist. A pilot may report to a FIC [flight information centre] or an FSS [flight service station] any hazards to the air navigation system that may need NOTAM distribution.
