The term "normal retirement age" is somewhat misleading. It is not the age at which members normally retire. There are many pension plans where only a small percentage of the workforce will work up to the "normal" retirement age of 65.

In many pension plans, the URA [unreduced retirement age] is the same at the NRA, i.e. pensions commencing prior to the NRA are always subject to reduction.

Le port est une agence fédérale dont le mandat est d'administrer, de contrôler, de gérer et de protéger la navigation et d'assurer la sécurité du port de Nanaïmo. L'Administration portuaire de Nanaïmo est tenue d'être financièrement indépendante et elle n'est pas admissible à aucun type de financement fédéral. Also known as trumpets, nasopharyngeal airways are inserted through one nostril to create an air passage between the nose and the nasopharynx. The NPA is preferred to the OPA in conscious patients because it is better tolerated and less likely to induce a gag reflex. ... While nasopharyngeal airways are better tolerated than oropharyngeal airways in awake or lightly anesthetized patients, they are contraindicated in patients who are anticoagulated, patients with basilar skull fractures, patients with nasal infections and deformities as well as in children (because of risk of epistaxis).
