En Alberta, projet d'extraction de sables pétrolifères confié à un consortium de six entreprises : Esso Ressources Canada Ltée, Canadian Occidental Petroleum, Ressources Gulf Canada Ltée, Pétro-Canada Inc., PanCanadian Petroleum Ltd, Alberta Oil Sands Equity (AOSE). On loue à ces entreprises six territoires (d'où les terme anglais "leased") pour fins de mise en valeur et d'exploitation des gisements. Le terme anglais "other", quant à lui, signifie qu'il faut distinguer ce projet des autres usines de valorisation déjà en place, notamment celle de la compagnie Syncrude.
