Mortier projeté. Le mortier appelé gunite tire son nom de son mode spécial de mise en œuvre. Le serrage est obtenu par projection de mortier, sous pression, à travers une buse, sur la surface à revêtir qui peut être constituée par un béton. On parvient à l'épaisseur totale recherchée du revêtement de gunite à l'aide d'une série de passages successifs.
