POWER POSTPONE RETAIN [1 record]

English

Subject field(s)

  • Law of Trusts (common law)
  • Special-Language Phraseology
CONT

A trustee must also be alert to changes in the fortunes of the companies represented in the portfolio of the trust estate. It is not expected that he will sell hastily at a sacrifice, since a power to postpone and retain will generally entitle him to hold for an advantageous sale, but such a power has never had the effect of converting non-trustee securities into trustee securities.

French

Domaine(s)
