OBS

If a receiver or integrated amplifier is equipped with a pre-out, you can bypass the internal power amp stage and go off-board to a stand-alone amplifier, or bi-amp.

On contourne alors la section amplificatrice de l'appareil. Sur certains produits, ces prises sont reliées aux entrées libellées «Amp In» au moyen de cavaliers. Le retrait de ces cavaliers permet de passer à la bi-amplification par exemple, ou bien encore d'utiliser des amplificateurs externes plus puissants, mais rend alors totalement inutiles ceux de l'intégré.
