On entend par super éthanol, un carburant automobile composé d'un mélange d'essence et d'éthanol. Compte tenu des spécifications techniques et des obligations légales, la proportion d'éthanol contenu dans le mélange peut varier entre 70 % l'hiver et 85 % l'été.
