Since 1992, the Prix du bénévolat en loisir et en sport Dollard-Morin (Dollard-Morin recreation and sports volunteering award) for which the Secrétariat au loisir et au sport is responsible, has acknowledged the contribution of more than half a million volunteers by paying tribute, each year, to twenty-four award winners for their commitment in the fields of recreation and sports.
