Le terme "public affairs" tend à remplacer "public relations" en anglais, en raison du caractère péjoratif acquis par ce dernier. En français, le terme "relations publiques" est normalisé et il n'a pas acquis un sens péjoratif comme dans l'autre langue. Ce terme conserve donc sa valeur terminologique pour rendre "public affairs".
